Spotlight: The Soulsby Farm

The Soulsby Farm is located in Hudson, Ohio, run by Dan Soulsby and his family.

The Soulsby Farm

We believe in sustainable farming from organic heirloom seeds and are strongly against GMO’s. We grow everything organically and let our hens free range around the garden (and sometimes the neighbors yard).

Dan bought the farm from and auction in 2007, and brought it back to life with the help of family and friends. In addition to raising free range hens, Dan and his family (wife Mindy, daughter Zoey, and “Jake the Farm Chihuahua”) grow vegetables and herbs, and even started a non-profit organization called Project Garden Share to help feed and educate individuals .

Some of the produce includes;

  • Celery
  • Cabbage
  • Carrots
  • Peppers
  • Tomatoes
  • Soybeans
  • Oregano
  • Corn
  • Pumpkins
